Trials, Ranked and Excavation pay three different currencies of progress. Mixing them up is how players grind the wrong ladder.
Trials

Finishing quickly while playing sloppy leaves grade points behind. The grade is the part players miss.
Ranked 1v1

Excavation
You wait in the site. The wait is 16 minutes, or 8 with Roblox Premium. The game rolls a category, then a rarity, then an item. Some rarities have no entries in a category, so the live odds shift.

Excavation is the component income that runs while you are not in combat. It is still worth doing without Premium. It just takes twice as long.
A mode the October summary does not restate
July 2023 update notes added 77 Rings as a level 70-plus dungeon reached from Dire in Windknight's Lot or the main menu, plus the same Excavation timer that is still documented. May 2026 footage still shows players running 77 Rings for armor and weapons. The October 2026 Trials summary describes the Funny Valentine loop and does not restate 77 Rings rules, so those older rules are not repeated here as current drop rates.
Which one to open
Open Trials when you need levels or a boss drop. Open Ranked when you are level 100 or higher and want the ladder. Open Excavation when you need schematics and can leave the game sitting in the site.
