Crafting is how most outfits, and all three premium arrows, enter your inventory. A schematic is one craft. Duplicates are not junk.
Craft without wasting the schematic
- Get a schematic from Excavation, Trials, story events or NPC kills.
- Open CRAFTING in the menu and select it. The menu lists components and materials.
- Count those materials yourself. If you are short, the game warns you and does not name the missing item.
- Craft. The item goes to your inventory and the schematic is destroyed. A blocked craft does not eat materials.
| Result | Documented cost |
|---|---|
| Arrow | $1,000 plus components |
| Pure Arrow | $100,000, 5 Gold Ingots, plus components |
| Requiem Arrow | $20,000, 3 Gold Ingots, 5 Meteorite Shards, 2 Wood |
| Outfits | Items plus components, from that outfit's schematic |
Gold Ingots are the shared bottleneck: five for a Pure Arrow, three for a Requiem Arrow. Meteorite Shards are the other Requiem gate. Wood is cheap and still the piece players run out of. Use the Gold Ingot calculator when you only need the shortfall.
What an outfit changes
| Outfit link | What it buffs |
|---|---|
| Stand-linked | The associated Stand. Josuke's Outfit enhances Crazy Diamond. |
| Speciality-linked | Your speciality |
| Weapon-linked | Weapon handling |
| General | Overall player stats |
Outfits do not replace a Stand's moves. Every piece also has weight, and weight comes from the resistances on that piece. More resistances mean more weight, and weight fights Agility, sprint and dash. A build is a trade between bulk and movement.
Where outfits drop
Crafting is the documented route to most sets. The other sources are NPC kills, including Dimensional Tears and Trial bosses, Trials themselves, story events, single-outfit quests, and seasonal windows. Trial drops are shared with everyone in the run.
Seasonal sets, including Halloween, Christmas, anniversary and winter pieces, leave when their window closes. The Santa Requiem Outfit is one of the winter items named on the board.
